I got this recipe 30 years ago from friends who periodically had appointments for healing with psychic nutritionist Eileen Poole in Pasadena, Calif., and acquired this recipe from her. It is cleansing and quite tasty.
1 pound fresh green beans
2 stalks celery, with leaves, chopped
1 bunch curly parsley, whole
Combine ingredients with a small amount of water (to cover about halfway) in a large pot. Bring to a boil and simmer until the beans and celery are tender and soft. Let cool. Place in blender (add more water if necessary) and puree. Pour into large coffee cups and drink.
This recipe will form a puree, so you don’t want it runny. If you notice the water is cooking down too fast, add more so the vegetables won’t burn. The vegetables will release water as they cook. Let them guide you. Moreover, be advised that adding additional ingredients to this recipe would alter the synergistic cleansing effect achieved via combining these three.
